To celebrate the 34th anniversary of its founding, KINU held an academic conference on April 8 (Tue), 2025 from 14:00 to 18:00.
The conference was centered on the theme of "Korean Unification in Trump 2.0 Era", searching for the direction of unification policy in the changing domestic and international environment.
The first session involved a lively debate on the second Trump administration, the ensuing changes to the US North Korea policy, and the tasks and opportunities of unification policy.
The second session revisited the history of division and the vision of unification in light of the 80th anniversary of Korean independence, and discussed future-oriented unification strategies.
